What it does not assure: It is not a Japanese government vegan seal. Confirm whether the specific mark on pack is the vegan or vegetarian track.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. Issuer criteria define animal ingredients and categories. Do not read the mark as a legal allergen declaration.

Taiwan vegetarian labelling

Issued by Taiwan food labelling rules (Ministry of Health and Welfare / TFDA context)

What it assures: Vegetarian claims on packaged foods follow Taiwanese labelling requirements for vegetarian categories as published by the competent authority.

What it does not assure: Category rules can allow dairy or egg depending on the declared vegetarian subtype. It is not automatically vegan.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. Read the official vegetarian category definitions. Shared equipment is a separate question from the category claim.
