National vegan societies run widely used private seals. Legal vegan definitions on packaging vary by country.

SVB vegan seal (Brazil)

Issued by Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira (SVB)

What it assures: Product is licensed under the SVB vegan seal programme for products that meet their vegan criteria.

What it does not assure: It is not a Brazilian government vegan logo. Always open the SVB seal pages for current product rules.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. SVB documents define animal ingredients for the seal. Treat shared-line questions as separate from the seal graphic.

Argentinian vegan certification marks

Private certification · Vegan

Issued by Local vegan organisations and certifiers active in Argentina (see issuer pages per product)

What it assures: When a private Argentine vegan mark appears, it signals certification under that organisation's published vegan rules for the licensed product.

What it does not assure: There is no single nationwide mandatory vegan packaging logo. Confirm the exact certifier named on the pack.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. Trace and processing rules depend on the named certifier. Follow that organisation's documentation.
