What it assures: Product meets the V-Label vegan criteria published by the scheme, including no animal ingredients as defined there.

What it does not assure: It is not a government mark. Scope details (processing aids, shared lines) follow the current V-Label standard, not a national vegan law.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. Cross-contact rules are set in the private standard. Read the current V-Label criteria; do not assume allergen-style trace exclusion.

What it assures: Ingredients and manufacture meet The Vegan Society Trademark criteria for that product licence.

What it does not assure: It is not a government seal. Licence conditions can change; always check the Society pages for the current standard.

Traces / shared lines: Trace exclusion is not a simple on-pack promise. The Society sets its own animal-ingredient and manufacturing rules. Do not treat the logo as a legal allergen-free claim.
